Happy Friday + Links 11/10/17

Happy Friday!  We received a fun bit of news this week…the new name for our HGTV pilot!  It is now being called MASTERPLAN.  What do you think?  Garrett and I both like the new name better than ‘Rehab Crazy’ and can’t wait to see the finished episode (which might not be until it airs…eeech!).  We’re still waiting on an airdate; I’ll pass that along when we get it!

Goodness, what a fun experience filming our pilot was, although it was probably 16 of the busiest days of our lives (check out my Instagram to see a pic of this space from those 16 days…crazy!).  Speaking of busy, we’re sure in a busy period again, although at a much healthier pace.  We’re finishing up the master suite for next week’s One Room Challenge reveal and the rest of the house in the next few weeks.  It’s all getting so close and I can’t wait to share more of this beautiful home with you guys.

Well it’s Friday again, meaning I’ve combed the internet for lots of great links.  Grab a cup of coffee and dig in.

#complainsgiving Silly and totally engrossing.  I spent an hour reading through the comments and couldn’t stop laughing.  Check it out and weigh in.

You can thank this for Anthropologie’s wonderful smell and, apparently, for encouraging us to spend money.  Related: the discussion of “atmospherics” in this podcast kind of blew my mind.

The most anticipated renovation of 2018.  I’m not sure when A-frames made a resurgence in popularity but I’m 100% on board!

The prettiest holiday table scape.  This picture single handedly made me excited for Christmas dinner and to finish our dining room.

A new rug obsession (yes, my rug love is fickle 😉  But at 30% off I’m so tempted…

Need a new show?  Stranger Things is as good as you’ve heard!

We got a flat tire on our way home from Seattle the other weekend and guess what?!  We ended up stuck on the side of the road at the top of the pass for 3 hours while we waited for roadside assistance because we couldn’t find our lug nut adaptor to change the tire ourselves.  Gah!  It was the middle of the night and all three kids woke up confused and exhausted.  Consider this a PSA to get your car’s emergency gear in order for the winter months.  Oh yeah and guess where that adaptor was hiding…in the glove box. Ha!

Have a great weekend!

xoxo

  1. It seems my comment didn’t go through the first time, but hopefully now I don’t end up accidentally posting twice, haha 🙂 My husband and I are from Ephrata and we now live north of Seattle. The pass always makes me so nervous when we travel that way during the holidays!

  2. Much better name…I really like it!

The new owners are selling most of the furniture that conveyed with the business. I was thinking there might be a few things still available that would be of interest to you.
