It's a...boy or girl?!

We had our 20-week ultrasound last week, which means we got to find out the gender of the little one in my tummy!!! Poshusta baby #2 at 20 weeks 5-14-15

We decided to try something a little different with the gender reveal this time around, so instead of having the ultrasound technician blurt out boy or girl, we had her write it on a card and seal it in an envelope.  Garrett and I had dinner reservations at Sitka and Spruce after the appointment (so worth a visit if you're in Seattle!) and we kept the card tucked in Garrett's jacket pocket until drinks and an appetizer were on our table.  When it was just the two of us, we told each other our final predictions (boy and boy), then we pulled out the card and...

Well I can't just come out and tell you the gender, that would take all the fun away!  Plus we didn't go easy on our friends and family, so I kinda have to give you guys the same run around.  We sent out the riddle below which reveals the gender when you solve it.  So go ahead, give it a try!

Start with the consonant that begins the phrase ___ as a clam and add before it the 18th letter of the alphabet.  Between these, place the first letter of the indigenous people of Alaska that are mmmm mmmm tasty on a frozen stick.  Add to the end a letter which is also a stand for a golf ball and a warm English drink.  Take the abbreviation for the Beaver state and add it to the end.  Reverse the whole thing so first is last and last is first.  Then add at the beginning a final letter which represents second in Greek, just like this kiddo is going to be.  Do you see?  Which sibling is Wilder going to have?!

Did you get it?!  I know, I'm such a pill!
