We found our 1912 Farmhouse in the summer of 2016 and immediately quit our jobs in Seattle, packed up our kids, and moved our lives to Ellensburg, Washington, the town where Garrett and I grew up. It was an easy decision. After 5 renovations (and moves) in as many years, we had finally found our forever home.
We renovated the master bedroom as part of the Fall 2016 One Room Challenge, a 6-week design challenge for bloggers. You can read more about it here: week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4, week 5, and the reveal.
Shop Wilder’s room coming soon
We finished Brooks’ nursery shortly after moving into the Farmhouse. It was a true multi-purpose room as it doubled as overflow guest space and a playroom. The nursery was always intended to be temporary for Brooks, since we planned to move him into Wilder’s room when he was bigger.
