Happy Friday + Links 7/14/17

Happy Friday!  I hope you had a great week!  We (the boys and I) made our very first jar of raspberry jam using fruit harvested from the Farmhouse this week.  That's been a goal of mine since we moved to the country, so I was pretty excited about it!  Of course, the boys love eating raspberries right off the vine, so we only made a small batch, and left the rest of the berries for picking.  We are getting 15lbs of raspberries from a local farm today, so by the end of the weekend, we'll have raspberry jam coming out of our ears! Speaking of the weekend, my sister and her kiddos are on their way to town!  With my due date quickly approaching (ahem tomorrow), my sis is coming up so she can be here for the birth.  She's been at all of mine and I've been at her's, so perhaps her presence is just the comfort I need to get labor started.  And if not, she'll be a great distraction from my impatience!  Side note: if you have any good labor-inducing remedies, I'd love to hear them.

Well it's Friday, which means time to grab a cup of coffee and check out these links.

The best way to eat fresh raspberry jam: make these biscuits, cut open and lather with butter and a healthy dollop of fresh jam.  So incredibly good and the perfect wrap up to a summer dinner.

The Grit and Polish - Farmhouse Lavendar Entry Crock

I shared this picture of our entry on Instagram last weekend.  We have lavender everywhere at the Farmhouse right now and I love it.  Not only is it one of my favorite flowers, but it's supposed to be calming, which is never a bad thing.  These blooms were a gift from my mother-in-law's garden.

An adorable baby announcement (I really want one of these of our family!).

This bathroom designed by the talented Park and Oak Design dua, stopped me in my tracks.  It's just so beautiful!  And now I'm dying to see more of their #POwilmettereno project!

A hammock roundup that will have you feeling all the summer vibes.  I'd love to get a large one like this for the Farmhouse!

This is a tour of Casa Zinc in Uruguay from a couple of years ago, but I find myself going back again and again.  Because it's just that good!

Peas are one of my garden favorites, and we'll definitely be trying this quick recipe when our's are ready!

Have a great weekend!
