Happy Holidays!

Happy holidays! Our winter break is well under way and we’re hunkering down at home, baking up a storm, and playing in the snow. The kids made a sledding hill on the side of the house and they’ve been sliding down and running back up for hours every day. We’ve watched the Home Alone movies. We’ve made pillow forts. It’s been a slow and delicious kind of break!

Wishing each and every one of you all the good things this holiday season! I hope your days are filled with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite holiday moments from our Farmhouse. If I was a better blogger, I would have gotten these up a month ago, but we’re late to the Christmas game this year. The lights just got hung last week and instead of our usual tree cut from the woods, we bought our’s at the grocery store parking lot last minute. But that’s not to say we’re low on cheer. Our house is buzzed with excitement (we have young kids after all ;) and we’re taking our time, soaking it all up, and enjoying these special days together.

The kids asked for small trees in their rooms this year, but I thought they wouldn’t get watered and end up tiny fire hazards. So instead I hung small Trader Joe wreaths above their beds. That seems to have sufficed…phew!

psst: you can find sources for our Farmhouse right here, the garland is from here

Thank you for being here. For cheering us on. For connecting with us. We’re thankful for each and every one of you. Wishing you the merriest of Christmases!
