5 Old House Instagram Accounts To Follow

Instagram is my favorite source for old houses. It’s full of old-house lovers, renovators, and designers and I soak up inspiration every time I’m on there. I love that we viewers get a front-row seat to the blood, sweat, and thousands and thousands of dollars that go into these old homes and we don’t even have to lift a finger (well besides to scroll 😉). Isn’t Instagram the best?!

Today I wanted to share 5 old-house Instagram accounts that are dishing up so much inspiration. This is just the tip of the iceberg for old-house accounts and honestly it was ridiculously hard to limit myself to 5. But I’m hoping you already know my love for folks like @danielkanter, @thegoldhive, @natashahabermann, @house1924, @yellowbrickhome, @beginninginthemiddle, @francoisetmoi, @studiolaloc (and a hundred more I’m leaving out).

So without further ado, here are 5 accounts that are full of real-life, old-house, fixer-upper dreams. And you should totally go give these brave souls a follow! And please PLEASE share your favorite old-house accounts in the comment section for all of us to enjoy.

Kristian Berryhill

Kristian Berryhill just bought a stunning 1905 Queen Anne in her hometown of Eupora, Mississippi and is fixing it up. The house is amazing and I simply can’t wait to watch Kristian restore it. But beyond the home, I’ve long followed Kristian for her aesthetic and the love and respect she shows old properties.

Carli’s and her family just sold their beautiful 142-year-old Victorian (we featured a tour here) and bought a 1945 Colonial. I cannot wait to see what they do with it!

Dean and Borja

Dean and Borja’s 2.5 acre English estate is the stuff of fairytales. There are 5 buildings on the property and Dean and Borja are painstakingly renovating each, doing as much themselves as possible.

Jessica Rhodes’s home, Danascara Place in New York, is incredible. Originally built in 1795, it’s been added to the state historic registry.

Betsy Sweeny

Betsy did what so many of us want to do…she bought one of the beautiful old homes featured on the Cheap Old Houses Instagram account! But Betsy brings a professional eye to the 1890s property as a historian and preservationist. I can’t wait to watch her rehab it!
