I’m still trying to work out a solution for our off-center-window-over-the-vanity situation in our primary bathroom. And one idea I’ve been kicking around is a scissor extension makeup mirror. They’re perfect for awkward layouts like our’s and add a touch of whimsy and nostalgia. I found so many great options during my hunt so today I wanted to share my favorites…

Isn’t that bathroom cool? Not only is it inspiration for our off-centered-window-over-the-vanity situation, but I can’t get enough of that brass mirror (it looks an awful lot like #11 from the roundup below!). Before I get to all the cute mirrors, I wanted to remind you what our off-center vanity situation looks like…

I’m imagining a scissor mirror on the left side of the window and either a second on the wall at the right end of the vanity or a larger wall mirror next to the window. But I’m wondering…do we need a large wall mirror? Would two small makeup mirrors suffice? Would we rather look out at the view when brushing our teeth rather than ourselves? Obviously I’m still playing around with this awkward sitch. In the meantime, here are those cute mirrors…
