Happy Friday 3/13/26
Happy Friday! I’m back from Charleston, and wow! what a city. It’s historic and warm and so beautiful and I can’t quite believe it exists in the US! My twin sister and I went on a whim to celebrate our birthday, found cheap flights, booked a hotel with points, and ate and walked our way through the city (36 miles in 3 days, I checked!). It was the best trip. The best city. The best company. Highly recommend! Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Some links from the week…
Charleston made me think of this Arthur C Brooks article: Find the place you love, then move there. “There is a word for love of a place: topophilia … it is the warm feelings you get from a place. It is a vivid, emotional, and personal experience, and it leads to unexplainable affections.” The PNW will always feel like home to me, but it sure is fun to find another spot to love!
A fashion trend I’m ready to jump onto!
Gah! the woodwork in Athena Caldron’s Manhattan apartment.
