Happy Friday 4/10/20

Happy Friday! How are you? Oh goodness we’ve had some lovely weather around here and we’re all feeling happier for it. The sun has been out, the daffodils are blooming, and it just feels like Spring. I hope for you, too! This weekend we’re planning a small Easter egg hunt and indulging in all manner of sugar and baking (including these sugar cookies with naturally-colored butter cream frosting). Wishing you a calm, restful weekend at home and a nice Easter if you celebrate.

I asked our Instagram community what they’re reading and got so many great recommendations! These are the books I added to my Libby app (all audiobooks borrowed through the library): Bill Bryson’s At Home, Red at the Bone, My Dark Vanessa, American Dirt, A Good Neighborhood, The Glass Hotel, and Just Mercy. And after I maxed out my hold queue, I bought a paperback copy of The Nightingale on Amazon :)
