Happy Friday 8/20/21

I’m relatively new to gardening (just 3 years in!) and it still brings me so much joy to say this…I grew these! I planted these dahlias, brown eyed girls, cosmos, zinnias, bupleureum, and Chinese-forget-me-nots in our garden and then watered them and weeded them and gave them compost and a little love…and they loved me right back! 😊 Gardening sure can be rewarding!

Here are some fun links from the week…

A Catskills home full of storybook charm. That sleeping porch is right out of my dreams! (cupofjo)

Wallpaper is back - here’s how to do it and what to avoid. I’m notoriously non-committal when it comes to wallpaper, but I see some in my near future! (vogue)

I’ve been listening to this song on repeat! (Spotify)

This week on the blog we celebrated 5 years in our farmhouse!!!

A fun quiz: I’m highly skeptical that you can find more than 16 out of 50 states on the map. I have some work (and traveling!) to do. (buzzfeed)

I’ve been wearing this top nonstop! (sezane affiliate)

While updating a Connecticut home Eva Chen, a born and bred New Yorker, found out she’s a country girl after all. On the change: “Losing structure has been the greatest gift…I never thought I’d be that person in gardening clogs.” (archdigest)

Love these pink walls! (@marynelsonsinclair)

How to wash a comforter so it feels like a cloud afterwards. With the cooler temps at night, we’ll be pulling out our down comforter any day now and I’m taking notes! (domino)

The 26 most beautiful towns in America. Goodness I can’t wait to travel again! We were just about to book tickets for this winter but now we’re in the ‘wait and see’ phase. (condenaste)

Picked up this book for vacation this week and didn’t even crack it 😆 Can’t wait to read it when we’re back home! (amazon affiliate, indiebound)

Have a good one!
