A Scalloped Jute Rug for the Closet

THE FARMHOUSE

When it came to finding a rug for our primary closet, I wanted something simple. Something that wouldn’t add too much to a space that is sure to always be full of color, pattern, and (let’s face it), a lightly-worn pair of jeans or two sitting in the corner. So I set about finding a “fun” jute rug. This is the one I settled on…

rug, jeans, sneakers

Scallops for the win! I’ve been eyeing these scalloped jute rugs ever since seeing them in Leanne’s home tour and this felt like the perfect spot for one. The Etsy seller I found offers these beauties with or without the white border and in tons of sizes (they’ll even custom make in-between sizes!) - I opted for a 3x5 with border for our closet and I bought a much larger version without the border for another room in the Farmhouse (more on that soon).

Can’t wait to share more of this closet soon! But first, I wanted to round up a few more of my favorite not-boring jute rugs…

one // flatware jute and wool rug, from $59

two // woven jute diamond rug, from $110

three // jute ticking indigo rug, from $110

four // natural jute and wool rug, from $148

five // geometric handmade flatware jute rug, from $42

six // handwoven geometric rug, from $77

seven // scallop jute rug, from $248

eight // customizable scallop jute rug, from $17 (we have this one!)

nine // hand-loomed round jute rug, from $37

ten // woven diamond jute rug, from $134

Aren’t they fun?!
