Happy Friday 1/9/26
Happy Friday! And happy (belated) New Year! Any exciting goings-on over there? I’ve been dealing with a foot injury that’s kept me from running, so I’ve been taking daily walks instead and honestly, I’m loving it. There’s so much more to notice when you slow down: little details, familiar faces, moments you’d otherwise breeze past. Dare I say it’s making winter kind of enjoyable? Even better with a hot cup of tea in hand, of course ;) Wishing you a lovely weekend ahead.

Some links from the week…
Garrett and I have decided we’re not country people (in-town living is our jam… for now ;) but I still love a good country home and this one by Amanda Pays and Corbin Bernsen is a beaut (and for sale!). Those antique doors!
Emily Henderson’s annual kitchen trends post does not disappoint. So many fresh ideas (I’m surprised how much I like green countertops!).
This week we shared how our Hill House upstairs for floor refinish turned out! 115-years old and they’re still so dang pretty :)
Heidi Caillier’s new line with Lulu and Georgia is so good. All the beautiful textiles and patterns you’d expect from the style queen. I’ll take one of everything, please!
Can’t wait to watch Emily Henry’s first book-turned-movie. It premiers tonight! (Here’s the trailer.)
My sister swears by these collagen under-eye masks. She does them in the morning to hydrate and reduce wrinkles. I just ordered a pack :)
Join me on this 5-day brain health challenge from the New York Times. We’ve got this!
Chip and Joanna Gaines’ daughter just designed her first cottage and no surprise…it turned out great!
Spent a chunk of my holiday break engrossed in this novel. It’s a wild and completely true story!
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
