Happy Friday! This week we put the finishing touches on a website refresh that’s been in the works for months. Blogging may be a bit of a lost art these days, but I still love it, so that part isn’t going anywhere :) What we did want to change was how easy it is to actually find things. Over the years we’ve shared so many posts on bathrooms, kitchens, hardware, paint, floor planning, and renovating old houses in general, and we know digging through years of blog posts isn’t always the easiest way to get to it. So now you’ll find topic-specific guides that pull all of that information together in one place. We read every single comment you leave, and a lot of this refresh came directly from your questions, guidance, notes, source requests, etc. So have a look around - we’d genuinely love to hear what you think!
Wishing you a lovely weekend.

A few things that caught my eye this week:
I promised you a hall bathroom reveal this week, but a brand partner asked us to hold it until January so it’s still coming! In the meantime, I wrote all about why our home needs more old things plus an epic estate sale haul :) What do you think of the chairs?
Are you ready for a new Pride and Prejudice movie?! The trailer looks good.
This 1863 Hudson Valley farmhouse feels right out of a Nora Ephron movie. Have to call out the green (again) because I’d never in a million years pick the shade they have in the library and yet it really works.
Need to get rid of halloween candy? These flourless monster cookies look like a good place to stash leftover candy (and oats! so healthy :). Or this candy-filled popcorn would be fun!
A peek at our temporary renovation kitchen. It was very much a ‘make do’ situation.
Someone asked me if we’re planning to do another big walking trip after England and yup, we’re hooked! Italy Spain? Maybe somewhere from Lonely Planet’s top 50 places to go in 2027!
Just bought this jute rug again for our bedroom - it’s pretty, works everywhere, and lasts! Plus at $179 for a 7’x10’, it’s not too precious ;)
My 11-year old came home from school the day after Halloween and said we were behind on holiday decorating. Ha! I’m not sure I’m ready for Christmas quite yet, but I do love this holiday home tour from the Cotswolds. *sigh*
A home in Italy reached by foot for $330k!
I’m still delightfully deep into this series atm so no new book to recommend you this week. What are you reading?
Have a good one!
