Happy Friday! 7/17/26

Happy Friday! How are you? Well, we’re officially settled into the Hill House, and it feels good! I wish I could say we did it entirely of our own accord, but honestly, it took inviting a photographer over to shoot a campaign to get me to unpack the last boxes and finally settle in. Making plans is the best way I know to finish a project. :) Of course, the house still has a long way to go, but it finally feels like our home again. And that’s pretty great!

Wishing you a lovely weekend!

A collection of finishes I found while unpacking

A few things that caught my eye this week:

Three generations live under one roof… and isn’t it a pretty roof?!

Hands down, my favorite soap. Bonus it’s from a woman-owned, small business in Seattle :)

Have you watched the new Little House on the Prairie? The kids and I are halfway through and it’s made me so thankful for every bit of modern conveniences in my life (electricity! indoor plumbing! grocery stores!).

This week we shared the tile in the ensuite bathroom. Who says simple and inexpensive tile can’t feel special?!

Lorelai and Rory’s house is on the market. Can you believe how much it’s selling for?!

A guide to pattern mixing wallpaper and curtains. Taking notes!

This tastes just like summer! We’ve been experimenting with our new ice-cream/yogurt/slushy/sorbet maker and this was our favorite recipe to date.

In this week’s episode of would you ever… this Wisconsin couple lives in a yurt (and winter is their favorite part). I know Garrett would!

Just finished this fun page-turner. Highly recommend if you enjoy a thriller!

Have a good one!
