Happy Friday 10/3/25
Happy Friday! How was your week? This week, with the help of my mom and mother-in-law, I planted the front garden at Poplar! Fall planting is a short season around here, and we won’t get to enjoy the blooms for long, but there’s something deeply satisfying about tucking each plant into the soil, knowing they should (hopefully!) come up strong in the spring. But just in case they don’t, I ordered 150 daffodil and tulip bulbs to make sure our spring is bursting with color ;) Wishing you a lovely weekend!
Some links from the week…
The Ralph Lauren “three piece rule” for a better outfit.
The mind-altering effect of a good workout routine. Amen!
Here’s a fall foliage map for peak leaf peeking dates!
This week we shared a Hill House update. Can you believe we’re 2 years into owning that house?!
A dreamy post-divorce apartment in Copenhagen. Love the muted colors and all that natural light!
I totally just got HBO for a month so my boys and I could watch the ‘John Adams’ miniseries (here’s the preview). It’s so good and so educational and even better the second time around!
5 train routes that highlight the beauty of Europe. Every single one looks gorgeous!
I ordered these pretty pink tulip, white tulip, ‘kitchen sink’ daffodil, and allium bulbs to make sure our Spring is full of color :)
This book kept me great company while gardening this week. It’s a mystery and a total delight!
Have a good one!
