Happy Friday 3/3/23

Happy Friday! Any exciting weekend plans? We’re hitting up our small town’s Friday Art Walk and celebrating family birthdays. There will be plenty of cake and wild children buzzing with excitement through art galleries. Should be entertaining ;) Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Some fun links from the week:

One time Garrett and I were at a fancy restaurant in Portland and they served us a dish on the chef’s tasting menu with a “poached hen’s egg” on top. Yeah, that’s just a regular ol’ chicken egg :) This beautiful breakfast platter reminded me of that (and looks like the perfect family brunch!).

A secret to falling asleep so good it’s a British national treasure.

I’m in total shock that this ‘90s fashion item has made a return. Would you wear it…again?

How to get kicked out of a 'buy nothing’ group and other tales from buy-nothing-groups gone awry.

Transforming a ‘kitchen of doom’ (the owner’s words not mine ;). So much great renovation advice in here like ”Let the original design be your mood board”.

The three-ingredient 70-calorie treat my girlfriends are raving about.

Hoping to watch this movie over the weekend.

The cutest sweaters. They remind me of that scene in When Harry Met Sally. Anyone else?

The last true mansion on New York’s famed Fifth Avenue (its neighbors are the Met and Central Park!) is for sale and the asking price is unreal. But pricing aside, I just love the history of this grand old home.

A design book that I can’t wait to get my hands on! (amazon, indiebound)

And for our Newsletter subscribers…yup, it’s roses.

Have a good one!
