Happy Friday! 7/10/26
Happy Friday! Well, we officially moved into the Hill House!! 🎉
You'd think after 10 moves in 18 years we'd have this down, but every move seems to find a new way to keep us humble. This one included a broken collarbone, a fallen tree branch that took out our power, internet, and gas, and a last-minute maintenance issue at one of our rentals that sent Garrett to Seattle for a week. It was, without question, a move. But here's the funny thing: once your toothbrush is unpacked and everyone has a bed to sleep in, the rest fades pretty quickly. We're home.
The kids are already making themselves comfortable, we're slowly figuring out where everything belongs, and after nearly three years of owning the Hill House, it feels so good to finally be living in the spaces we've been dreaming of. At least some of them ;) There's still plenty left to do (when is there not?), but we're exactly where we want to be. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

A few things that caught my eye this week:
Would you swap your lawn for a mowable meadow? I’m so intrigued!
The MVP of our move. We bought these years ago and they are a must for moving anything into or around your home!
This Rhode Island beach house feels like the epitome of summer. Swoon!
These organic cotton sheets are on all of the beds at the Hill House right now.
Unexpected kitchen color combinations. I’m thinking about the second option for the temp kitchen at the Hill House. Feels like the spot to try something fun and different.
Garrett, the kids, and I just finished all 3 movies in this series and it was a pure delight. It can be hard to find something we all want to watch and genuinely love, but this fit the bill.
Our 10-year old is obsessed with this classic game. Not sure if it’s the broken collarbone, but he’s played it a ton over the past 2 weeks.
How beautiful is this opera singer’s Paris apartment? That marble mantle in the kids bedroom!
Now THIS is a salad!
Finally listened to this book (it’s been on my list for a decade!) and it was well worth the wait. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a little reset.
Have a good one!
