Happy Friday! 5/15/26

Happy Friday! We’ve been plugging away on the Hill House this week, mostly small details like hardware, caulk, curtains, …. All the things you barely notice until you realize there are approximately one thousand of them and every single one matters. It’s slow, steady progress, but little by little we’re crafting a home that feels very much like us :) Wishing you a lovely weekend!

A few things that caught my eye this week:

Omg, this London cottage is about the most charming home I’ve ever seen!

The sheer joy of cut flowers. I think I need to add some cut flowers to the Poplar garden next week :)

Picked these curtains for the boys’ bedroom at the Hill House - the stripe detail is so fun.

26 woman moved in together - in a housing estate they built themselves. How cool is that?!

This brought a tear to my eye: Adventures in Wigland.

We officially finished installing all the hardware upstairs at the Hill House and I’m in love with everything we picked.

Wow! this 1860s Vermont home is a stunner.

Savvy shoppers are redefining how to save money on groceries. Where do you shop? With 3 growing kids, I can hardly believe how much we spend on food, but Costco is great and every time I walk out of Bargain Market I just can’t believe how inexpensive it is!

Picked up this novel at the library on a whim and loved it! Complicated family dynamics, romance, and a touch of the magic - so good!

Wishing you a lovely weekend.
