Happy Friday! 9/18/26
Happy Friday! Garrett and I have a tendency to work a lot - the hazard of owning a small business and being landlords - so lately we’ve been trying to get better about making room for fun before the to-do list swallows it up. A midday hike on a Wednesday. A show together once the kids go to bed (though, to be fair, our teenager is usually up later than we are ;). Nothing groundbreaking, just little things that make the week feel a bit more like ours. Sharing a list of shows below, including the one we recommend to everyone. Wishing you a lovely weekend!
the snug: couch (ink cap), rug, sconce, paneling, skylight, bamboo shade, floors, paneling and milwork
A few things that caught my eye this week:
47 shows to watch this fall. Can’t wait to get back into Slow Horses!
This week we shared a fresh look at our snug plus the built-in bookcase made for me. Sometimes you don’t need more square footage, you need your existing space to work harder for you.
I’ve been wearing this top on repeat all month.
Oh to live by the sea. And for just $150k!!!
A few bathroom essentials we’re putting in our hall bath. A good scent really does make a space feel special.
My 10-year-old won a blue ribbon at the fair for these fudge brownies.
Another beautiful kitchen worktable instead of an island: “It keeps everything open and airy, and the tile runs right underneath it.”
If renovating old homes doesn’t work out, this is definitely my plan B, career-wise.
A colorful carriage house in Connecticut.
I’ve been in a bit of a book rut lately. Anyone have a good rec for a compulsive read that will get me through a 9+ hour flight?!
Have a good one!
