Happy Friday! 9/25/26
Happy Friday! And happy fall! This week I walked by the Poplar Cottage (Garrett’s sister and her family are still staying there), and you guys! The hydrangeas are exploding, the garden is at its peak, and the early fall light turns the cedar shake extra golden. After working on this little house for sooooo long, it’s such a delight to finally see it not as a construction site, but as a finished cottage with greenery spilling through the fence. I was completely enamored with it all over again :) I’ll share a full tour eventually, but in the meantime, our family is enjoying it exactly as it is. Wishing you a lovely weekend!
A few things that caught my eye this week:

A lot of questions about my hair lately. Honestly, I was feeling like I needed a little change and my brilliant hair stylist recommended French Blending for my grays. I love it! Here is what mine looks like and the products I’m using.

I’ve always been impressed by Anissa Zajac’s (of @housesevendesign) ability to create spaces that are chic and design-forward while still feeling livable and comfortable. What a skill! Her new book is out next week and it’s a gold mine of inspiration and wisdom. Highly recommend!
