Happy Friday! Popcorn Tulips and Skylights
Last fall we planted 150 bulbs - daffodils, alliums, and the prettiest ‘popcorn’ tulips - in the Poplar Cottage garden, thinking of it as a little love letter to spring. And now that it’s finally here, I’m soaking up every bit of it. As Audrey Hepburn said, “to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” :) We’ve had the loveliest stretch of weather, and most evenings you’ll find us outside pulling a few weeds, puttering around, and staying out just a little longer than planned. After a long winter, it feels so good to be back out there again!

A few things that caught my eye this week:
A fresh take on ‘country in the city’ in a designer’s Thameside flat.
We started a new little Friday tradition: pizza, a movie, and mocktails (for the kids, at least ;). They don’t really care what’s in them - sparkling water with fruit and ice does the trick - but serving them in a fancy glass makes it feel special. These are our current favorites.
Now THIS house is worth moving to New York for (assuming you’re handy ;)!
Have you watched The Madison, yet? I’m only a couple episodes in but wow, Tyler Sheridan sure knows how to do Western!
Pamela Anderson’s second act. And her new furniture line is lovely, too!
Just finished this novel and wow! It was moving, enlightening, and emotional…historical fiction at it’s best.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
